First Camping Trip!

This weekend we took Ayden on her first camping trip. Tye and I stayed in the tent and Ayden slept in the camper in her pack n play. I took her monitor outside with me so I knew when I needed to go in to feed her. She slept so well and she loved being outside. I took her little bouncer and when someone wasn't holding her she sat in it and just loved it.

I have so many wonderful memories of camping when I was little. My whole family use to go every summer and it is still a tradition that continues today. Everyone had a tent (except for Mamaw and Pop), a Coleman stove and tons of coolers. I use to think that it was no big deal to pack everything up, camp and come home. Now I realize that it was because I didn't do any of the work. Now everyone has a camper (except me and Tye) and "camping" is completely different.

Tye and I decided that we wanted to make the same memories with our kids someday so.....we bought a BIG tent, lantern, air mattress, and all the other million camping supplies that you need or you think you need and I can't wait to someday make camping one of "our" family traditions.
