Two Month Milestones

Yesterday, my little Aydee Bug was two months old. I can't believe how fast she is growing. We took her to her two month appointment today and she weighed 10 lbs. 7 oz. and was 23 1/2 inches long. She is in the 50% percentile for weight and 95% for height. Ayden got three shots and an oral medication. Her doctor is Dr. Amanda Guetersloh and we love her. She is so great with Ayden and she visits with us which we really appreciate. Here are some new things about Ayden this month:

• loves her swing, she will sit in it for hours sleeping and playing
• loves her play gym, but instead of looking at the lights, toys, etc. hanging from it she looks at the lamp or ceiling fan in the living room :)
• still loves ceiling fans if she is fussy you can show her a fan and she calms down
• she can roll over to her side and back, she can also hold her head up for about five minutes at a time
• she sleeps about 9 hours at night with me getting up once to feed her and she only sleeps on her left side
• she eats about 4 oz. every three hours
• loves her car seat
• SMILES!!! at everything, especially if you talk to her
• coos, squeals and "talks" back to you
• recognizes Mommy and Daddy's faces and voice
• still has a ton of hair, she has not lost any infact it has grown some since birth (i can even put clips in it)
• she is looking more like Tye these days but she makes facial expressions that look like me all the time
• BIG chubby cheeks and legs
• her eyes are still a deep blue color as of now
• My parents (Poppa and Honey) call her babygirl, Tye calls her Girly head or doughy face, and I call her Aydee bug. Maybe someday she will learn all her names:)

She reminds me everyday of what an amazing God we have. I feel so blessed to be her mother and I hope that Tye and I can be a wonderful example to her as parents. We love you baby!!
