Florida Trip

Ok, sorry it has been so long since I have blogged but blogger has been down for a couple days and quite honestly I have been super busy. Now it is time to talk about Florida:) We had the BEST time visiting my brother and Corryn. The only thing that could have made the trip better was my Dad and Tye getting to go. We missed them but had tons of fun and lots of pictures and video to show when we got back. I love Florida it is truly the sunshine state. The weather was beautiful the whole time we were there and it even rained one day. I stepped out on the porch and let Ayden see, touch, smell and hear the rain. I don't think that it has rained here since she was born!! Ayden was so cute she loved my brother and Corryn. She also loved their dogs and I don't think that they felt the same way towards her.

On Friday night we went to Corryn's school carnival. Ayden loved the balloon that her Aunt Corryn gave her she played with it until it went flat.
My brother gave her this bowl to play with and she had a blast banging in on their floor. I had to make sure she wasn't making any indentions on the hardwood!! (I have to admit she looks just like her Daddy in this picture!)

On Saturday, we went to the beach. This was Ayden's first time seeing the ocean and really playing in the sand. She was so funny she wouldn't stop eating the sand. She was putting handfuls of it in her mouth and I'm thinking because maybe it was salty. I love this picture of her she is the cutest beach baby!!

She loved the wind from the ocean, she loves the wind she is a west Texas girl what can I say! She didn't really know what to think about her feet in the water. She didn't cry or try to pull her feet out so I'm thinking that she liked it.

We also saw a few fish and two jelly fish while we were there!

We had the best time at the beach I could have stayed all day!! Aren't my brother and Corryn so cute!!

On Sunday, we went to church then went to eat for Mother's day. This was my first Mother's Day and it was awesome!! While I am on that subject Ayden got me the cutest little card Tye said he held up two cards and she picked that one. I loved it, it made me cry. Tye got me a card and a two hour spa gift card. I am sooo excited I have never been to a spa before and I can't wait to go. Anyway back to Florida, after lunch we went to the Jacksonville Zoo. Now anyone who knows me knows that I am always up for going to the zoo. I was super excited and we had a great time.

I have the best baby during her nap time it doesn't matter if we are at home or at the zoo she sleeps:)

At the zoo we got to feed the giraffes. Brandon and Corryn bought tickets for me, Ayden and Corryn to feed the giraffes and it was so fun. I even screamed once because I didn't realize that one of the giraffes was licking my arm (and they have super long black tongues) it just kinda caught me off guard:) I put one of the bushes in Ayden's hand to give to the giraffe and she had the biggest eyes ever. It was really cute.

Did I mention that I think my child is going to be a world traveler!! She did awesome on the plane rides. We flew to Memphis and then on to Jacksonville and then on the way back we flew to Memphis and then on to Lubbock. Ayden was great. The take off and landing didn't even phase her. Thank you so much Angela for going with me I couldn't have done it without you!! We had the best time visiting with my brother and Corryn. We don't get to see them very often and I always love spending time with them. Thank yall so much for everything you did while we were there. I love you and miss you already:)
