Swimming lessons are finally over...yeah!! We had a great time but for basically three weeks we did nothing but swimming lessons:) Ayden learned so much I was really surprised how much she could do but the end of the week. She learned to close her eyes, tuck her chin, kick and hold her breath when she went under the water. She went off the board and was so cute because she would close her little eyes way before she hit the water and then she would "swim" with the teachers help to the ladder.
Her eyes are still closed:) She was so cute!
She would sit on the side of the pool and I would let her go until she was ready to fall into the water. Everytime I would sit her up on the side of the pool she would clap for herself.
She also went down the slide everyday. She would close her eyes as soon as Susan would sit her on the slide, she defiantly knew what was coming:)
When she hit the water she would swim to the rope!! I was so proud of how great Ayden did, we had fun so much together!! She is already signed her up for next summer!!

Hayley, I have decided that EVERYTHING she does is adorable.. lol even if she wasn't my grandaughter I'd still think she was absolutely adorable.. :) Such a sweet baby! I'm so glad you both had fun. My memories of taking you to swimming lessons are wonderful too. Make as many as you can babygirl time flies by! :) Love, Mom

ReplyDeleteI laughed reading your post Hayley. I can just see her closing her little eyes. I'm glad ya'll had fun. I use to love to watch Tye when Michelle took him to lessons. It's really amazing what babies can learn in certain situations.
