Ryan's One Month Milestones

Ryan is already one month old and I'm am not sure at all where the time went!  I realize that for the first two weeks of his life I had a headache and didn't really know if I was coming or going but he still isn't supposed to be growing so fast...

He has already changed so much since he was born.  This picture he was one day old...isn't he so handsome!  He is the most beautiful baby and so sweet too.  I feel sooo blessed that I have a sweet, happy baby.  Life has been so great (YES there have been overwhelming moments) but for the most part I love having Ayden and Ryan!

This picture was taken the day he turned a month old.  Now with Ayden I would get her all dressed up and take her picture all the time but face it with two kids I don't have time to do that...I said it was great having two kids but I never said that it wasn't crazy around here:) So little Ryan got his picture taken in his gown right before bed!!

-Ryan has started being more and more awake everyday.  He loves to stare at the fan just like Ayden and he really loves to stare at me when I'm wearing my glasses.

-He sleeps on average 4 hours a night but the last two nights he has slept 5 and 5 1/2 hours in between feedings.  He is amazing:)

-no smiles yet but I know its coming soon

-Ryan recongizes mine and Tye's voice and will stop crying if we just talk to him

-He only likes to sleep in your arms or his bed.  He doesn't like his swing or the infant seat.  He also doesn't like to be swaddled very tight, he likes to be able to move his arms and legs around. 

-He is SOO strong.  He can pretty much hold his head up and he can stand forever. 

-Ayden continues to LOVE her brother and SQUEEZE her brother all the time.  Tye and I have cried on more than one occasion when she wanted to give Ryan her most prized possession, her tractor blanket!  She will give it to him to cover up with and I'm telling you that would make anyone teary eyed if they saw her do it. 

-I love Ryan more everyday and can't imagine life without him in it!!
