About two weeks ago we decided to move Ryan into his big boy room! We moved Ayden when she was 17 months old too and she did great! I really wanted him to be in his big boy room before the baby comes because eventually the baby will be in the nursery.
Ryan's furniture in his new room was Tye's growing up and I love it! Not to mention it is very special for Tye that his son is not only sleeping in his old room but also using his furniture!
We were very skeptical about moving Ryan because he is a little more wild than Ayden was at this age. We have a video monitor that has an intercom on it so we can actually talk to the kids in their room if we need too. The rule at our house is you don't get out of bed. When they wake up in the morning or after a nap they are supposed to call for Mommy or Daddy to come get them. We didn't really know if Ryan would stay in his bed and follow those directions but...HE DID!!!
He has been so good and is so cute about his new room. If you ask him about his room he will just smile so big and giggle. He loves it and thinks he is just so big. I love that he has really started to listen and understand us...just in time to have another little Mason:)
