I realize I haven't blogged in a few weeks and it isn't because life has slowed down because lets face it with three kids it never does! It's actually been quite the opposite. We have had something going on almost every single night. We have been doing school stuff, doctors appointments, church and Farm Bureau meetings!
What's been going on with Ayden: School! She still continues to get up every morning (except for once which was our fault because she went to bed way to late) excited to go to school and see her teacher! She has already learned a lot just in the last several weeks and is so eager to learn more. I told Tye just the other day that since she has started Kindergarten she seems so much more grown up. She is just so full of energy and attitude these days that I'm a touch nervous to think about what puberty may look like! I was even told this week that what I was wearing wasn't acceptable! Hahaha, if she only knew the struggles right now going on with my wardrobe. We've had talks about our attitude and talks about kindness and talks about our hearts being sweet, hopefully something is sinking in!
What's going on with Ryan: Well what can I say this child is full of quirks and I just love him more because of it! He is very particular these days about his underwear and socks, about his pants and about which way you put his belt through his "belt holes." He is either making me smile, laugh or roll my eyes. Regardless of the facial expression I may have I've really enjoyed getting to spend more time with him while Ayden is at school. I think Ayden being away has really helped Myles and Ryan grow closer. They have played more together lately and I just love watching them interact. They still fight but I figure that's probably not going to go away anytime soon so we just deal with those as they come. Ryan loves playing with Legos so we have build a few Lego cities this week. One example of Myles just being a toot is he will sit on Ryan's pile of Legos on purpose...just to do it. So Ryan can't find or add a piece because Myles is sitting on them. Like I said we just deal with it as it comes. :)
What's going on with Myles: He's been working with his Daddy a lot. He is such a little farm boy and doesn't mind at all to be in the hot sun riding the four-wheeler. Tye has been hoeing for the last three weeks with his hand Augustine and Myles loves "Guszine." This is Myles's spot on the four-wheeler and everytime Tye and Augustine pass each other in the field Myles will wave really big and say "Daddy, wook Guszine." Ryan has gone a few times to but he says it's hot and he doesn't want to work anymore. I think it's been really good for Myles that Ayden has been at school too. She treats Myles like her baby (all the time) and will give him anything he asks for. She even carries him on her hip and he weighs only about 9 pounds less than she does. She pushes him in her baby stroller and tucks him into bed. He was lost the first week that she was gone. He would just kinda roam around the house. So like I said he has really had to learn to just be either by himself or play with his brother. He had his two year well check and I was surprised to find out that he is quite tall for his age and his head is off the charts literally over 100%. Everything was perfect with him and I couldn't be more thankful!
What's going on with us: Tye has been working non-stop basically. He took the big kids over the weekend to Aggieland and Ryan got to go to his first football game. Other than that he has been hoeing. The crop is ready which is crazy and never happens this early but because of the lack of rain the bowls are open and ready to strip in the next couple weeks. This really stinks for me because we were thinking it wouldn't be until the end of October. After a crying breakdown when I realized I'm about to have a baby and he will be gone I was told we would get through it together somehow. Haha, I'm hoping this means he will be taking kids on the stripper with him! B has a buddy seat in his stripper so we may send one with him too!
I'm 38 weeks and ready to have a baby! I went to the doctor last Thursday and my body is getting ready for sure! I had Ayden at 38 weeks and the boys at 39 so anyday now would be nice. I can't wait to meet this little love and kiss it's sweet cheeks a million times!
