Ayden was so excited last night and this morning about school! It makes it so much easier to drop them off when they are so happy to be there. Last night she picked her outfit and picked what she wanted to take in her lunch. It was so fun because she was excited about it all!
Mrs. Guthrie is her teacher this year and we are so thrilled! Ayden told us last night that "Mrs. Guthrie is picky and means business!" I know Mrs. Gordon prepared them so well last year and I can't wait to see how much she learns in 1st grade!
Ayden at her desk and Soffi is even sitting right behind her! I didn't cry when we dropped her off because she was just too happy! Tye and I both couldn't believe how she wasn't shy and just sat right down. We all hugged and kissed her a million times before we left including her brothers. Myles even ran back to give her one more kiss and hug. Today was weird not having her home. My kids are always all together and hardly ever split up. We all missed her (I think I missed her a little too much) and the boys seemed lost this morning without her. At lunch when her stool was empty Ryan said, "Momma I miss Ayden." I told him that he would see her in just a little while. They soon got over it and discovered without her there they can both prop their feet up on her stool while they eat lunch.
She goes this year from 8-2:30. When we picked her up she ran to the car so excited about her first day. She said that she had FUN and can't wait to go back tomorrow. She also informed me that she already has reading "that we HAVE to get done TOOOOnight." She already loves Mrs. Guthrie and thinks that she is so beautiful and so funny! This year is going to be a fantastic year. I can't wait to get started!!
