Sipapu 2019

We had the best ski trip this year.  The snow was great, the weather was great and the time with family was even better.
Sipapu has an ice castle that is amazing!  The kids love to climb up and slide down.
Ayden is amazing and can ski better than me.  She skis so well and so good that it's hard for me to ski and take her pictures!  She's just a fun kid to be around and the older she is getting the more fun it is to just hang out with her.  I love every minute of it.
This poor guy didn't get to ski this year.  His broken foot was bad timing!  I guess a broken foot is never really good timing but this kid has the best attitude around.  He's such a great kid.  Watching us leave in the morning he was so encouraging and so happy for us.  He even called Myles back to remind him to have fun one morning.  I may or may not have cried a little.  I'm so proud of him.
Myles gets the award for the most improved.  I can't tell you how surprised I am at how well he did this year.  He started skiing all on his own the first day.  The first morning B helped him down the mountain a few times and then he was ready.  By the end of the trip he was skiing down faster than everyone else...it was scary but he was control and can stop.  He just likes to go fast!  He loves to ski and wouldn't quit to go back to the house.  He kept up with everyone.  He's growing up too!

Cold hands!
B and Shell got Sydney skis just like last year but she didn't like it.  As a matter of fact after she went down once she cried and said she was ready to go back to the house.  We made her try for awhile but then let her go back to the house with Mandy.
Little Princess!
She loved playing on the ice castle though!  She also didn't mind all her ski clothes, gloves, hat or pants this year.  hahaha PROGRESS!
Myles and B the first morning.  I'm telling you what...Brent is amazing!  He is so strong and has more endurance than a 20 year old.  I want to be like him when I'm 57!
The last day Kenzie, Mandy, Syd, Spencer, me and Ryan hung out at the house.  We took the kids down to the ski area and let them play on the ice castle.  I put Ryan's cast cover on his leg and let him crawl around on the snow, pulled him around on the sled and let him play on the ice castle.  He had a blast!!
Once again, so thankful for Mandy!  She takes time off from work to help keep the kids.  I always ask her if she is sure she wants to use her vacation time to watch kids and she always responds with "YES, it's still a vacation to me."   Love her and so very thankful for her!
This trip was our Christmas present from B and Shell.  BEST. PRESENT. EVER!
We always have fun skiing and spending time together as a family.  I can't wait to go back next year!
