Spectacular September

We've had the most wonderful September.  We have continued to rock along in our school year.  Everyone is doing really well and loving their grade.  We started a timeline of historical events starting at Creation.  Ayden is in 5th grade and is doing Ancient and Old World history this year.  Both of the boys are doing American History so we are combining it all to make a really cool timeline.  We are all learning so much through this, including me!  It'll take us all year but I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished.

This little girl continues to surprise me and I love being her teacher.
Poppa, Honey and Ryan taught Sydney how to play Checkers.  It's her favorite game now and she's honestly really good!
My lap looked empty so Rusty and Lucy decided to fill it!
Sydney and I made biscuits.  We made a mess but more importantly we made memories.
Tye and the boys went Dove hunting.  I told the boys to get together so I could take their picture.  THIS is how they posed.  If this picture doesn't show their personalities I'm not sure what does.
We went to FLORDIA this month.  We had an incredible time and will cherish those memories forever.  This was Myles and Sydney's first time to fly and Ryan's first time that he remembers.  They did amazing on the plane and loved every minute of the flight.
BB was a great sport and let the kids bury her in the sand.  After they buried her everyone left...she got hot.  haha
Ayden and her BFF, Kam Kam.
Leave it to Ryan to be morbid with the alligator.
TEN years old and enjoying life.  If she only knew how it hurts to see her grow up...maybe she'd stop!
The sand castle builder couldn't build as easily as he does at Port Aransas.  As Sydney says, "The sand here is like suga."
My sweet Myles taking a break in the shade.
My favorite two brudders.
We left Florida JUST in time before Hurricane Sally hit.  This picture was taken on our last day at the beach.  That afternoon they changed the flag to a double red which means no swimming.  We sat out on the beach all afternoon just watching the waves ROLL in and the sky turn black.  The kids played in the sand and the adults prayed we'd make it home!
Mandy took our family pictures while we were there.  I LOVE them so much!
I love this guy.  He makes me so happy.
Myles being Myles...haha
Panama City Beach Pier was lots of fun.  We saw Pelicans, jellyfish, stingrays, and a sea turtle!
My girl drinking a pineapple drink in a REAL pineapple!  She thought this was the coolest thing ever.

Ryan was so cute in his favorite beach shirt and new hat.
At night and after a long day at the beach, I'd cook supper (on the nights we didn't eat out) and everyone would shower and change into jammies.  I loved these nights just watching movies and relaxing.  Sydney did this with her dolly and it made me laugh.  You think she's been to the beach this year?!
Sisters, sisters we are SISTERS!  That's the beginning of their sisters secret handshake.
Ayden and her Daddy.  Two peas in a pod!  He does NOTHING wrong in her eyes.  It reminds me so much of the relationship I always had and still do with my dad.
Myles and his BFF.  We are so thankful for Mandy and thankful for letting us experience a little piece of paradise with her!  10 days together and we still missed each other when we got home.

Me and Mandy also got buried.  The sand feels a lot heavier than you think it would when it's on top of you.
Dippy Dots (as Sydney calls them) before heading to the airport.
Right after I took this picture, I grabbed this sweet girl up and held her for nearly two hours.  It was wonderful.

Myles and Rusty boy together at last!  We are so thankful for B and Shell for keeping him while we were gone.
Our BABY turned 5 years old September 27th.  She came into this world on her own time and has been the same ever since.  Once she decides to do something, she does it and she does it well.  She is wonderful.  She is so sweet and can also be a little sassy.  She is very cuddly and loves to be rocked and read too.  She watches cooking shows and Little House on the Prairie with me and comments on all the things going on.  She loves God and "reads" her Bible all the time.  She understands how important HE is in our lives and she repeats what she's been modeled.  I couldn't be more proud of her and my prayer is that someday she makes all of it her own.
She loves beef sticks, peanut butter and brownies.  She'll always be up for a bowl of oatmeal or icecream.  She wants all things pink, and all things Frozen, Minnie Mouse, Moana, and "dollies."  She is a dream come true.  We love her more than she'll ever understand.  She may understand one day, if she has a little girl just like her of her own.
At'L Do Farms has become such a special place to us.  We go every single year and look forward to the next when it's over.

The last adventure we went on this month was to Hords Creek with my family.  We have done this for as long as I can remember.  I love my family so much and wish Mamaw and Papaw could've been there with us.  We talked about them and told lots of stories this weekend.  It was so FUN and I'm already looking forward to next year.

Massey-Baker Bash 2020

The kids played all weekend.  They rode bikes and made a really cool zip-line!

Sydney woke up on Sunday and said, "I'm OFFICIALLY FIVE years old."
