She LOVES the water and is actually doing really well. Everyday when we get there we start by blowing bubbles, then we float...
then we swish...she doesn't like swishing so much
Today was the second day and we starting dipping. It is where you pretty much dunk them and she didn't care for that too much either!!
I think that I hurt her feelings:)
There are four other little kids in her class and they cry the WHOLE time. Ayden just cries when she has to go under...I know that she can't swim yet but I thought that it would be something fun to do. I also thought that it might teach her not to freak out when she goes under the water. She already did better today than she did yesterday, I am just nervous about the third week...they go off the diving board:)
Awwwwww I'm so glad she is going to learn to swim... and is taking lessons from Susan who taught you when you were little Hayley... but that face she's making... geeeeez.... she has a way of just melting your heart... ReplyDeleteI can remember when I had to take Tye one time when Michelle and Brent were out of town. I was a nervous wreck, especially when you had to torpedo them under water to the teacher. I just knew I would be the one to drown him. I'm glad she loves the water cause she is from a family both on your side and Tye's that really enjoy it. Have fun. :)
