Last week Ayden and I went camping with my parents at Hordes Creek. We left on Tuesday and the rest of my family came on Friday. We had so much fun with my parents and Ayden really LOVED their camper, her favorite thing was their steps that lead up to their bedroom. She loved to pull up on them and just stand their and look around:) This time she bathed in our little camping wash bin, in the shower. It worked out really well and she really liked it too.
My Dad set up her "cage" she really liked playing and pulling up in there. I liked that I didn't have to worry about her eating rocks:)
Ok, are you ready for the cutest thing ever?
I love both of these faces, one minute she is like "really Mom" and the next she is ready to ride. Tye and I got bikes a couple months ago and got Ayden a baby seat (attached to Tye's bike) I don't trust my bike skills to ride with her (I crashed into the shelf at Walmart testing my bike out) whoever said riding a bike comes back to you was WRONG...
Anyway, my Dad rode Tye's bike and Ayden loved her Poppa riding around the campground with her!!
"Let's go this way Poppa!!"
Ayden also got her first goose egg while we were there. I don't know if you can see it on her forehead very well but she feel and hit her head on my parents table...it was really sad:(
Ok, now on to the wildlife. Their were a TON of deer and they would come up right to the camp site. Nothing could scare them away (right Dad:))!! We also had like 10 hummingbirds outside the camper I think Angela had to fill her feeder three times while we were there. Once again, Hordes Creek was a blast and I especially liked the extra time I got to spend with my parents. Its neat how when you grow up you become friends with you parents, I love it:) Mammaw and Pop we sure did miss you, but Pop I did beat Dad at horseshoes once:) just for you!!

I didn't know they made bike helmets that small. She is too cute in it. You made me laugh about your bike skills. :)
ReplyDeleteHow adorable is the faces she's making.. the first one in the helmet reminds me of you Hayley... you used to give me the exact same look... but I'm certain it was over the enormous bows I put in your hair. Anyway, glad you guys had an awesome time! Love, Mom :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a great time with you and Ayden (and Tye at the end of the week!) We got so used to seeing Bug every day that we really have missed her this week!!!! I'm sure you dad is going to say that in that one picture she was really saying "poppa's number one". haha!! Love you!

Just wanted you to know you are a great Mom and Ayden is blessed to have you and you both are blessed to have Tye. And as far as Ayden well poppa's girl is the best. I Love you all
