Eleven Month Milestones

Okay I feel like our life is in fast forward and I don't know how to make it stop.  Where has Ryan's first year gone?  It seems like only yesterday I was pregnant with a sciatic nerve that was killing me and a wild talkative little girl dreaming about how my life would be with two little ones.  I'm living that dream and sometimes I don't even realize it.  Our life is so busy, crazy, chaotic but its ours and I love it.  I have an amazing husband who I love more than ever, two awesome kids who I can't believe God choose me to be their Mom and loving family and friends who I feel so blessed to be walking through this life with.  Now I sit here blogging after my sweet babies have finally gone to bed wondering about how my life is going to be in about 7 months when we have three little ones...
Here lately it never fails I tell my self tonight is the night that I catch up on my blog and then the kids go to bed and I sit down in my chair and the next thing I know Tye is waking me up telling me to come to bed.  So since Ryan will be ONE next week and I figured I better update:
Something inside this little man erupted...Now this is GREAT and scary at the same time.  What I thought was going to be a laid back little baby is now a crazy, loud wild man. He has so much personality and is testing Mommy and Daddy to see just how serious we are.  It takes several times (most of the time) to understand that some things can't be touch and some fits can't be thrown but I have to say he has such a place in my heart.  He is my little man.  It's true what they say about a son and mother there is just something about that relationship that melts my heart, makes me smile and brings tears to my eyes.
-Ryan and Ayden's relationship is growing closer and closer everyday.  If Ayden wakes up before him she is asking when he will be up.  She wants to play with him ALL the time and he is just head over heels for her.  He can say sister (sometimes) and Ayden still calls him Bubby!
-Ryan is such a awesome sleeper.  He sleeps all night every night and takes two naps a day.  He still has to have cow to sleep and he can also say cow.
-We are slowly working on weaning him and today for the first time he didn't have a bottle at all.  He completely weaned himself by the way!  He can use a sippy cup.  He eats way more than Ayden already.  Usually we just buy a kids meal at a restaurant and Ryan eats 3/4 and Ayden will eat a 1/4.  I can't imagine what it will be like when he is a teenager.  Ryan is still slim and trim so I'm not really sure where all the food goes...wait yes I do...he never stops moving...
-Ryan loves Rudy (B & Shells) dog and will give him hugs and kisses.  We think he can say dog and have heard him say Rudy several times.
-Ryan learned today where your nose is and can point to it when ask
-He has stood on his own a few times and has taken one step here and there to reach things.  I'm almost positive he will be walking in a month.
-If you give Ryan a telephone he will hold it up to his ear and say hello (it sounds like "doe")
-Ryan is such a Daddy's boy.  Tye has to sneak out the door and can't tell him bye because he will cry and cry.  He also has crawled to the back door and stood there screaming on several occasions.  It's ridiculous!!
If I ever ask Ryan if he wants to go with Daddy he will start freaking out saying go, go, go.
-Last by not least Ryan pouts big time.  If you tell him no or he just gets upset at something he will stick his bottom lip out, lay on the floor and put his face down in the carpet.  It is so sad and I have to admit I'm a big sucker for it.

We love him so much and I am so thankful that God blessed us with this sweet and wild little boy! I can't wait to see what the future holds for him!
