Ryan is ONE! I can't believe my baby boy is so big. We had such a fun party last Saturday. The theme of his party was balls and anyone who knows Ryan knows he LOVES balls. I find myself sounding like a dog owner when we tell him go find your ball Bubby. He gets so excited and crawls around the house really fast looking for it! We had balls of everything; meatballs, sausage balls, cheese balls, donut holes, cake balls, blueberries, grapes and watermelon and cantaloupe balls. We even had gum balls on all the tables!
I didn't realize until later when I was looking through pictures that at some point during the party he crawled under the table and was eating cheese balls off the floor...who is in charge of this kid anyway?
Ayden helped Ryan blow out his candle and then he dug into his cake. At first he wasn't really sure about what to do then he realized that it was good and he had no trouble after that.
Sleepy boy or cake coma?
Ryan is going to be walking very soon. Today he walked three steps to get to his ball:)
Ryan got a cozy truck. We waited until last to give it to him. We learned our lesson with Miss Ayden:)
At first Ryan opened a few presents. Then he crawled away and wanted to play with a balloon instead. He ended up getting in trouble with his Daddy for throwing a fit. After that he crawled under the table and was laying his head down on a balloon watching me open all his presents! Stinker...
But how can you be upset with a face like that?
Two things Poppa did here:
1. Driving the kids around them having a blast...him braking his back. Ayden was getting everyone's order to go to the pretend McDonalds (the window).
2. Teaching them how to crawl on top of the car...which Ayden does all the time now. Thanks Dad:)
At least the car is in the house on the carpet at the moment.
