Brent and Michelle kept the kids while we went on our trip to the Dominican Republic. Michelle said the kids were great while we were gone. Nobody even had to go to time-out...what?!! The kids always have so much fun at B & Shell's house. We see them all the time and live just a mile down the road but I'm thankful that the kids have wonderful Grandparents that are not only willing to keep them but actually enjoy it!
They picked black-eyed peas. Brent said they picked two ice cream buckets full. Ayden was so proud of herself. She now tells me that she loves to eat black-eyed peas (which she doesn't.)
Okay this day was hard on her Momma. Ayden started preschool while we were gone. We planned our trip way before we decided to let her go. She is going two days a week from 8-11 and she loves it. She really loves her teacher and talks about her all the time at home! (Heads up Steffi, its all good things:) On her first day of school B and Shell took her while Kenzie stayed home with the boys. Michelle said she was excited, then shy, then almost cried, the did cry a little. Michelle cried, Brent almost cried, I cried all the way in the Dominican and NO were aren't too emotional, Tye!
This picture makes me laugh, she is so much like her Daddy at times.
Michelle said when school was out she came running to the car and said that she loved it!
They rode the four wheeler every night I think. The kids love to ride on the four wheeler, especially Ryan. They said Ryan made them laugh all week with his stories. He is hilarious. Michelle said Ryan talked about coming home the entire week. He loves to just be at home. The second night we were home he asked to go to B and Shell's house:) Myles didn't start walking while we were gone but had since started which has been a lot of fun! Here is Ayden second day of school picture. She looks more thrilled to be going here:)
Michelle sent me pictures and videos of the kids while we were gone. We were also able to Facetime with them. I'm very thankful for smartphones and wifi!
Thank you B, Shell and Kenzie for taking care of my sweet babies. We are so thankful for all three of you. We love you!!
