We had a wonderful Easter this year! Each year I know I say this but I'm so thankful for both sides of my family. Tye and I are so blessed to have to split our time with so many people who love and want to be with us!
We got to color eggs with both the Masseys and Masons this year. Ayden was very into coloring her eggs all different colors. Ryan picked green and blue and wanted every egg that color. Myles colored a couple then drank the vinegar and ate a crayon.

Myles didn't care for the fake grass in his basket. He put maybe one egg in and then discovered the candy. He spent the rest of the time eating!

Cousins!
Every holiday with my sweet kiddos gets better and better. I'm so thankful that not only did we get to have fun with eggs but we also talked about why we celebrate Easter. We asked the kids if they knew why we were so happy about Easter. Ayden told us because Jesus is alive. Then Ryan said, "He got dead and then he woked up." I'm so thankful that they both know that because it is definitely something to celebrate!
Sunday night my whole family came over to the house. We were missing a special man this year. Papaw loved Easter and what he loved about it was watching his great grandkids hunt and share their eggs with him. It was hard not having him here. Every get together that we have at our house Ayden gets the picture she has of him and puts in on the table. It's like she wants to make sure he is there or something. It's very sweet and makes me cry everytime. I'm thankful that as a family we can talk about him, share memories, laugh, cry and know that he is happy too!
