All kinds of swimming!

We have been in the water all summer!  The last two weeks of June the kids took swimming lessons from Steffi.  She is such a great teacher, they love her and I can say that Ayden officially learned to swim "all by herself."  She can jump off a diving board and swim to the ladder!  I am so very proud of her.  She is a FISH...wait no I've been corrected several times.  She is a mermaid!
Ryan is so funny.  He isn't really a fan of the water.  He is like his Daddy in that he would rather watch from dry ground unless it's the lake!  However, he did so good at swimming lessons.  He was as stiff as a board but he was in the big kid class and didn't cry or ask for me at all!  He did ask Steffi if he could swim to his sister (which completely melts my heart.)  He definitely gets points for being the best floater ever...haha.
Myles did really good too!  He is just a comedian wherever he is and whatever he is doing.  I loved being in the Mommy and Me class with him.  He didn't like bugs in the water and would let me know quick if he saw one.
We have had so much RAIN!  I'm give thanks everyday to God for sending us moisture.  Not only to replenish the farm land and lakes but to show that he does hear our prayers!  It's been a lesson learned in patience!  Last week we had 7" of rain in one night!  It filled the lakes and ditches all around our house so we took advantage and played in it!  We had some tubes and spent the morning floating and playing with frogs.  I'm still on a mission to find my children some tadpoles!
The kids thought we were crazy at first.  Ayden really liked it and loved floating by herself.  Ryan refused to float (until the end) because I wouldn't let him take his SWIM shoes off.  I choose to fight that battle and he watched us have fun until he finally gave in about 30 minutes before we left.  Myles would float in my lap.  I'm telling you this was a sight to see.  A 28 week pregnant lady with a killer sciatic nerve problem getting on a tube the size of a literal donut...what we do for our kids.
My whole world in one picture!!
I love them so much my heart could explode!
Seriously?  I have no words...
I love our little pool...shhh don't tell Tye!
