One Month Milestones

Sydney is ONE month old today.  We have enjoyed this precious girl so much since the minute she was born!  This month has gone by extremely fast.  Sydney has been absolutely great, even in the midst of the boys being sick, Tye going back to work and Myles having a rough case of the "terrible twos."
My oldest child has grown exponentially since Sydney's birth.  She has changed a ton since she started school and has been fantastic as a big sister.  She is so in LOVE with Sydney.  Every morning before school she leans over her bassinet and kisses her little cheek to tell her bye.  She holds her if I can't and she is crying, she tells me if she needs a diaper change or if she thinks she is hungry.  She is also so excited about the fact that "sisters" get to take baths together now.
Sydney has been doing really well sleeping at night.  We usually lay her down around 10:30 and most nights she will go until 2:30.  Then she usually wakes up every 2-2/2 hours for every feeding after that.  She doesn't like to be swaddled and sleeps in a sleep sack.  She loves her bouncer and the swing (as long as it's swinging from front to back, not side to side.)  She loves looking at my glasses, Tye when he is wearing caps and our ceiling fan in the living room.
Ryan has been the child that has really impressed me the most with her.  He is so very SWEET!  He has been the absolute best big brother.  It's so crazy to me how he doesn't treat her like he did Myles.  He is gentle and nice and loving.  Don't get me wrong he didn't strangle Myles (at that point at least) when he was a baby but he didn't treat him like he does Sydney.  He asks where she is every morning if she is still in bed and rushes to see her the minute she cries.  He also calls her Syd Syd.
Sydney started smiling about a week ago.  She will look up at me and smile the sweetest little smile and I just love it so!  I caught her smile just a little in this picture.
Myles is so funny with Sydney.  He loves her and is very sweet when he sees her.  Other than that I think he forgets she is here.  Sometimes he will say, "Huh? Sydney here."  He did share his binky (blanket) with her the other day.  He told Tye, "Sydney have my binky but my paci no."
Our sweet girl is beyond perfect!  She has made our family so complete and we couldn't be happier.  I have truly loved every minute this month with her.  The sleepy ones, the crying ones and especially all the snuggles.  I can't wait to see what next month holds for her and our family.  Life couldn't get any better than this!
We love you sweet Sydney!  Happy ONE month!
