Easter 2017

We had a wonderful Easter this year.  We colored eggs with both sides of our wonderful family.  Ayden took her time and wanted her eggs perfect, Ryan picked a color and dyed them at a speedy pace all the same color and Myles took his time basically just putting the egg in the color and staring at it.  hahaha
Sydney was confused and thought we were all crazy.  She kept rubbing the eggs across her lips and it was weird.
 Ayden and her bestie!
We dyed eggs in Mamaw's backyard this year.  She loved watching all her great grandkids color eggs and we loved spending time with her!
 Double Trouble- Ryan and Kye!
Sweet Myles coloring his egg my favorite color.  He kept saying every egg was just for me.
Rye man hunting eggs!  I love his belt and flashlight.  This kid is my favorite!
I know there are a ton of pictures and I started to leave some out.  However, this is my wonderful family.  How BLESSED are we that we have so many family members that love and care for us.  I thank God daily for this.

B and Shell and their grandkids
They are wonderful and we are so lucky to have them live right down the road from us to keep kids or just hang out with us.  I love how Ayden is holding Spencer in place.  It's so him and so her!
Mandy and her great nieces and nephews.
This woman drops everything to help us ALL the time.  I'd be lost without her.
 Sisters
What would I do without you two!  So thankful for our relationship.
BB and her great nieces and nephews
She's so fun and so playful.  I always get a break when she's here because she constantly plays with the kids.
Miss Syd picking up eggs and realizing they have candy in them.  It was all downhill from this picture.
After the egg hunt with my family.
This man..my dad.  He sure does love his grandkids.
 Poppa and Honey
If you ever think my kids are spoiled rotten it's because of them.  They make us all happy!
Mamaw and all the great grandkids on my side.  She is the strongest woman I know.  I love her so very much.
And just like that when I've got caught up in the who, where and what of Easter.  What to bring, where to be and what the kids need to be doing or (not doing) my sweet kids help hold me accountable.  They do this all the time.  I love it, I need it and I really believe it's a nudge from God reminding me of what REALLY matters.  Not the bunny, not the eggs and not the outfits but the fact that Jesus is RISEN!  He is alive!  How much more exciting can any story be?
Ryan: Momma I made Jesus's tomb in school today.
Me: You sure did!  Can you tell me the story of what happened?
Ryan: Jesus died on the cross for all the bad things we did and then he rose.  He's not dead he's alive.
Then he showed me with his little popcicle stick how Jesus rose and went up to Heaven to live.

I'm so proud of this.  More than anything they can do when they show me they are understanding God's word I am more proud than anything they could ever do!
