We had an amazing day today! Full of fun and family and that's my favorite kind of day. We started out the day going to the parade with Tye's family. They threw out candy and the kids thought that was pretty cool.

My family came over this evening and we popped fireworks. Ryan LOVES it. He will pop anything and everything. My favorite part is watching them run away after it's lit. They run for their little lives!

She was a little unsure about the fireworks at first so took refuge with my Dad. We went to the park after it got dark for the fireworks show. She loved it. At first she kept saying "popcorn" and making the most surprised face. It was so cute and funny!
Myles loved the smoke bombs the most.

Ryan got this yo-yo at the parade and has played with it all day. He can do tricks now!
So thankful we get to celebrate our nations birthday today! I loved getting to explain to my kids what today means and why we celebrate it. Happy 4th of July!!
