For Labor day we went with Brent, Michelle, Kenzie and Spencer to the Fort Worth area to see Kambry. She moved there in August and started her 1st year of teaching. We are so happy she is only 4 1/2 hours away. We took our campers and stayed at Lake Benbrook and it was so nice and peaceful. We didn't even know Dallas was a few miles away! We went to the Fort Worth Zoo one day and had the best time. It's one of my favorite places!
Ryan loves turtles and had to have his picture with this one.
Myles was most excited about seeing the crocodiles. This one swam right up to the glass and sat there. Myles loved it!
B and Ayden taking a little rest.
Sweet cousins
Sydney and Spencer looking at the fish.
Spencer was most excited about his map!
Ryan checking out this cool chameleon. We have a book by Eric Carle called The Mix-Up Chameleon and he loves it. It's a cute book about being yourself!
My beautiful 7 year old. She's beautiful inside and out!
Myles is as big as a FALCON!
Ryan wanted to be as big as an eagle. His arms aren't quite long enough.
They got to watch a black bear eat apples for a snack.
This is her "Don't take my picture face."
Two seconds later she was OUT!
ZZ, Spencer and Ayden before the train ride.
Spencer is as big as a barn owl!
Taking another rest
We spent all day at the zoo. Everyone was tired so B and Tye turned into pack mules!
The rest of the trip we hung out at Kambry's apartment and swam in her pool and relaxed at the camper. We always have such a great time together. So thankful for family!!
