Here Comes Santa Claus...

Look who we saw on Sunday.  We stopped by Holland Garden to see if he happen to be there and guess what HE WAS!  The kids were so excited.  Our conversations this year have already made me laugh, giggle and get teary-eyed.  Kids bring alive the spirit of Christmas and it gets better every year.
Sydney loved him this year.  She couldn't wait to go over, talk to him and pat his knee.  Ayden, Ryan and Myles are pros at this point and knew exactly what to do and what to say.
Here are some Christmas conversations:

On the way to Holland Garden
Ryan: is this going to be the real Santa.
Me: I don't know Ryan.  Remember Santa can't be everywhere at once so sometimes he gets people to dress in clothes like his and help him.  We never really know if he's the real one or not.
Ryan: One time Momma I know for an absolute fact it wasn't the real Santa.
Me: How do you know that Bubs?
Ryan: because he picked his whole beard and moved it up his face.
Me: oh wow...I missed that.
Ryan: I think the real Santa wears little round glasses.  Do you think that Momma?
Me: Well yes because in our books he does.
When we got there we walked around the corner and Ryan got so very excited and said "MOMMA, it's the real Santa look at his little round glasses."
Myles talking to Santa
Myles: Is that a real belt?
Santa: Yes, it is.
Myles: What's under your clothes Mr. Santa.  Is it your naked body?
Me: OHHHH, Myles tell him what you want for Christmas please!
Santa just laughed...glad he's in good spirits.

Santa gave them candy canes.
Myles: these are little candy cane Mr. Santa.
Santa: because they were made by my little elves.
Ayden: Hey, Noni our elf might have helped make them.  Do you know our elf Noni?
Santa: Why, yes of course I know Noni
The kids faces just LIGHT up with excited.

Sydney: It's Santa!
Me: Yes, it is.  Can you tell him what you want for Christmas?
Sydney: He's got legs.
Me: Yes he does.
Santa: and they can move (then he started wiggling his legs)
Sydney: OHHHHH
