First day of school

2018-2019

 Myles started school last week August the 21st.  He is going to FBCCS this year and is in pre-k 4.  

Mrs. Scott is his teacher again this year!  He looked so handsome on his first day of school.

 I'm starting a new adventure (TWO to be exact) but I'm teaching pre-k 3 this year at FBCCS.  I teach two days a week on the same days Myles goes to school so he is right across the hallway from me.  I teach and he goes to school from 8-11 on Tuesday and Thursday.

I also teach in the morning with VIPKID.  It's a private tutoring service for students in Beijing, China.  I teach them English through all subjects.  I teach early in the mornings before the kids are even awake!  I've been teaching for them for 6 months and just renewed my contract for 6 more months.

 Another new adventure that we are starting this year is homeschooling!  I've wanted to homeschool since Ayden was born and really do believe that it's the best thing for OUR family right now.  I know it's not something that everyone would love to do or even want to do and that's OKAY!  When I found out that Ayden and Ryan wouldn't be able to go to their school (FBCCS) this year because their grades were not going to be offered I knew it was now or never.  I've done a lot of research, a lot of preparing, and a whole lot of praying.  Today was our first day and it went perfectly.

Ayden and Ryan wrote me a sweet note on our board last night.  They are SO excited to home school and for me to be their teacher.
