Summer has just begun and already we've had fun. There is nothing better than sitting on the patio watching the kids run around the backyard. The warm breeze blowing and a rain storm headed toward the house. We've been so thankful for the rain we have gotten. Not only does it bring moisture to our land but it also brings life in the form of...FROGS! We are going to make this summer fun, relaxful and full of family time.
We went to the park one day, ate and then threw the leftovers to the geese and ducks. It's always fun to watch the geese chase your children until they run and jump on a picnic table in fear...right?!
Ayden finished up her softball season. She grew in confidence and that's what matters most! We are proud of her and her team.
We went swimming in Lubbock at Mandy's pool. Sydney can touch in the little end this year and she was VERY excited!
I've got to get a picture of Myles in goggles every single summer.
Ryan went with Tye on the tractor while he was planting cotton. The kids always go with their Daddy but this year Tye let Ryan drive (He can't reach the pedals yet) and he was so excited. He came home telling me all about how you have to "keep it directly in the middle of the row" and couldn't wait to go again.
We've had icecream...
and Sno' Cones.
We've look super cute and grown up for church.
Sweet (sometimes) brothers
Little Syd looking so big too.
Myles has taught his guinea pig, Oliver, a thing or two about skateboarding.
We've taken good naps.
And last but not least, we've gone on four wheeler rides around the country. THIS is what summer is all about and I can't wait to spend the rest of it with the people I love the most.
