Sipapu

A couple weeks ago we went to Sipapu skiing!  We had the best time and I've got to say we went at just my speed!  The kids LOVED the mountain and loved the magic carpet mainly because they could do it by them self.

 Sydney was so cute and happy out in the snow.  Mandy kept her everyday while we skied.  She would bring Syd down in the wagon until it was nap time and then go back to the house.  We stayed within walking distance to the slopes and it was so perfect for the little ones.  

 I know I'm completely partial but she is just beautiful!

 This girl is AHH-MAZING!  I seriously think in a couple years (maybe next) she will be better than me.  She went to ski school one afternoon and then headed to the top with us.  She can ski blues faster than me...I'm totally serious!  I'm so amazed at how good she is and she really loves it.  She never wanted to stop and take a break.  She just wanted to ski FAST!

 We were all so impressed with Myles.  I didn't really know if he would even do it.  However, he was a natural.  He put his little skis on and rode the magic carpet like a champ.  He was so friendly and cute waving at people and the lift attendants couldn't believe how good he was doing.  Everyone kept asking how old he was and then couldn't believe he was just 2!  We all took turns taking him to the top and skiing with him in between our legs and let me tell ya that's a workout!  He was so pooped after three days of skiing.  He couldn't even make it through a snack without falling asleep.

 Ryan went to ski school one morning but didn't learn much.  He kept wanted to take breaks and eat snacks.  He wasn't feeling well on this trip.  He was sick with a cold and turns out when we got home he had a ear infection too.  He was so good though.  He was so tough and we were very proud of him.  We decided not to put him back in ski school and just let him ski with us.  He wanted to ski with Shell (almost every time) and we started calling her Super Shell!  I really don't know how she did it for three days.  She kept saying it wasn't bad because she was short and he was doing great.  I think she is just an awesome Shell:)  He did decide to let B use a harness and went down the mountain once by himself using that.  I was very surprised at how well he skied.  I bet next year he's doing it all by himself too!

 They built a snow castle at the bottom of the ski area and the kids loved climbing on it.  It was huge and very impressive.

We had yet another safe and FUN ski trip this year.  I loved this place and thought it was so perfect for little kids.  I can't wait to go back next year!
