Hippity Hoppity Easter's on...oh wait it's over! HA
I've been meaning to post these top two pictures for over a week. We are so happy for Spring to be here. I love warm weather. I love being outside in my garden and sitting in my hammock watching my kids swim and play. The boys wore shorts to church a couple Sundays ago and it just made me so happy!
"Mom, I don't believe the Easter bunny is real. I saw him get a drink from a Sonic cup while we were standing in line."

Yesterday was a great day! We all love Easter. We love the time with family, we love the food and we love to dye and hunt Easter eggs. More importantly we are so thankful for what it stands for.
Last night after we read a few Easter books for the last time this year we ask the kids what Easter was really about.
"Jesus is alive!" "He is Risen!" "He didn't die and is in Heaven."
These were their answers and I couldn't be more proud of them.
Also side note, Sydney was being such a stinker and didn't want to take a picture. She didn't even want to LOOK at the camera. I loved the kids Easter outfits this year. Thanks Shell!
Me: you two get together so I can take your picture.
Them: ahhhhhh....ewwww Ryan...hurry Mom
My sweet little Myles hunting for eggs.
She's beautiful inside and out!
Now she says CHEESE!
Sweet girl.
Sydney was stomping on her confetti eggs. She accidentally stepped on a hard boiled egg and then said "OH oh."
Such a big boy!
This year was hard and different for my family. It was the first Easter without Mamaw and the first without both of my grandparents. Papaw loved Easter so much. Every single year since I can remember he would get an egg out of a grandkids basket and eat it. Sometimes (a lot of the time) he'd get more than one and eat it. My Dad decided to carry on that tradition and eat an egg for Papaw. Here he is explaining to Ryan what he's doing. They ended up sharing the egg. It'll never be the same but it can still be fun and full of love and it certainly was!
I just love my Dad.
I'm so thankful for both of our families. We had a wonderful lunch and hunt with Tye's family and then a wonderful supper and hunt with mine. WE are SO blessed!
